Checking In On Your Progress: Self Healing
How have you been feeling? Good days, bad days? Are you experiencing that “I can’t be bothered” feeling? If so, don’t worry — it’s totally normal, and you’ll likely experience it more often than you think. Getting out of that space where you feel drained, useless, and indifferent to everything is a huge accomplishment.
So maybe you had a few good days where you journaled or listened to your favorite upbeat music, only to find yourself tired and slipping back into that “I can’t be bothered” mindset. You know what? Own it! Acknowledge it! Keep pushing through the cycle because your mind and body recognize stuck energy. Changing your perspective, shaking things up, will help — but it’s not easy. This isn’t a free ride. It’s a tough journey, but it’s worth it.
If you don’t believe in yourself, how can you expect anyone else to? So, get up, do something inspiring — even if it’s small. Grab your dog for a walk and breathe in the fresh air, or maybe tackle a house chore. You could even dress up in something nice, even if you’re not going anywhere. Re-train your brain. It might be hard at first, but trust me, it gets easier. Keep going.
